Premiering this morning on Ellen, the new trailer for the Spike Jonze directed Where the Wild Things Are is now available for our general consumption. Despite the fact that the movie has been plagued by disasters (at one point, it was even rumoured that the entire movie would have to be reshot), the images and video coming out do look pretty awesome; though I’m interested in exactly where they’ll be going with the story, considering the source material is a picture book containing less words than most of the articles written about the film.
Ah well, until then, I’ll just continue enjoying my own personal wild rumpuses. Who’d like to join me in buying a couple pairs of these and attaching some tails to them?
I could totally see myself pimped out in those cat pajamas the boy is wearing in the trailer. CALL ME…cuddle kitten, Purrrrrr
Ah ha, I gotta say you are definitely a good source for what I would otherwise have no idea existed. The new hot spot ladies and gentlemen, I’d keep this site in your sights if I was you!
GLORIOUS PUPPETEERING!
It’s been so long since we’ve had a good one of these movies. Mirrormask came close, but Labyrinth and Neverending Story were the last true classics.
Oh, and Farscape, but that was TV.
Farscape had puppets?
Wow! I was skeptical of them making it into a movie but that looks really cool! I so want to go see it now. (And I’d totally get the pj’s and tail thing going on!)
