I’ve been thinking more and more about lomography, lately; I’d really like to get into taking lo-fi pictures, and maybe even learn to develop the film myself. I’m probably getting ahead of myself there, but I can dream! I love the dreamy, double-exposed effects that you can get from the Diana line of cameras.
This amazing Diana F+ deluxe kit, featuring a bright pink camera, flash, 35 mm converter, fisheye lens, super-wide lens, wide-angle lens, close-up lens, telephoto lens, and viewfinder adapters, is everything I would need to get started taking 35 mm film pictures… well, except the film. Lomography.com has got me covered there, too! They even sell expired film at a discount, and surprise packs — I have always been a sucker for a grab bag.
The whole kit would run over $300, with taxes and shipping to Toronto. They run a lot of Groupon deals, though, so I could probably save about $30 off of that price, if I’m lucky. This is definitely my next ‘large scale personal purchase’ that I’m going to save up for. It would be so fun to run around all summer, taking lo-fi pictures!
